Grading success for team Chikara

Yet Another Grading Success for Spennymoor Karate Club.

Six members from the North East’s only Kyokushin karate club recently took their club level grading’s. They were tested for two hours on technique, stamina and ability by 3rd Dan, Chief Instructor Adam Walker.

Standards in our club are very high and we expect nothing but the best..

From the adult’s class, after showing great fighting spirit, white belt and first timer, Lee O’Neill double graded to orange belt black stripe, Bradley Hall achieved his blue belt, Lee Corner his yellow, and Keeley Nixon her yellow belt black stripe.

From the junior class, Cameron Dobson achieved his blue belt and Amy Lowes moved up to green belt black stripe.

“Standards in our club are very high and we expect nothing but the best from our students. I am extremely pleased by the results of this grading and they just go to show that training regularly at a reputable club pays off. I was also very pleased to present the ‘best contribution to our club’ trophy to Lee Corner who has gone the extra mile and has done some fantastic work over the past year.” commented Adam.
